With their second season, the Readers will present seven stories from “The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes,” the second volume of short stories by Conan Doyle, including a Christmas special,

The Blue Carbuncle.

 

The season begins in October with a reading of Conan Doyle’s novel “The Hound of the Baskervilles.” This special extended-reading will bring Holmes’ greatest case to life on two nights, October 4 & 5. The Readers will then return with a Christmas-themed reading of The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle on December 19.

 

The regular season will then commence in January with one short story on the third Thursday of each month. This season will include the stories The Blue Carbuncle, The Adventure of Silver Blaze, The Adventure of the Yellow Face, The Adventure of the Naval Treaty, The Adventure of the Crooked Man, The Adventure of The Reigate Squire, and will conclude with a double bill of The Adventure of the Musgrave Ritual and The Final Problem, in which Holmes faces off against his nemesis, Professor Moriarty.
