Voting is under attack. Perhaps not here in Vermont, but in many of our sister states. Emilie Kornheiser's campaign for State Representative has endeavored to make the "work" of democracy fun and uplifting for everyone engaged. Now, as primary day approaches on August 14, the essential act in the democratic process must take place: you must cast your vote.

 

Join us for a screening of the new independent documentary Capturing the Flag. The film dives deep into voter suppression tactics in the southern states during the 2016 election, following a small group of tireless activists who made it their duty to de-mystify voting for vulnerable populations. We'll have get-out-the-vote tactics on hand for any interested parties.
